They aren't allowed on the many trails or in the backcountry. Backcountry Arches National Park Camping There is backcountry camping but a permit is required. Buy them at the visitor center. Remember, though, that there are no designated backcountry campsites or trails. Conditions are primitive. Make sure you practice low-impact camping techniques.
